The obtained natural effect is really impressive. The winter is really a thief of color, here the panel is hung on well. I like this centred framing, indeed, we stop on the road sign, and it is indeed its role, but we have the choice to follow the perspective in background ;)

Een bijna cartoon-achtige schiterende foto! Leuk je te ontmoeten, ik heb familie in o.a. Westervoort en Bergeijk en kom enkele malen per jaar in die buurt. Tilburg heb ik ook gewoond als student.

Ik vind het leuk als iemand de 'grap' van deze foto oppikt. Ik vond het zelf heel tegenstrijdig. Zoveel mooie bomen en verboden voor honden.

I really like what Pixim says, "The winter is really a thief of color". I searched through it and it appears to warm up only at eye level (horizon?). The bleakness is warmed by this "NO DOGS" sign, and I would love to see an adventurous dog defy the authorities on a day like that ... AFTER the pristine photographs are taken. This is a really wonderful statement, worth publishing.

On that day I haven't seen a dog disobeying the sign, so I think they are clever enough, probably for some winter-philosophy too. {;-)

That's a nice shot! I like who the sign is in middle of two rows of trees as well as the Red Circle around the sign is outstanding becuase of it's color in this B&W like photo.

As this was not a postprocessing job, the striking contrast of the red, in what otherwise appears to be a monochrome shot, was a great find. Beautifullly composed, with the placement of those vertical lines. This is a real winner!

I must admit, when first I looked at this, before reading the caption, I thought, I bet that red really was the only color in real life for this shot. It just seemed too pure (sometimes the manipulation of the photos lends them a certain artificiality). And sure enough, it was. Who needs Photoshop when you have wonderful nature?
